What is the Gold Circle Club?

The Gold Circle Club is designed to reward our loyal Frequent Flyers through flights and member benefits.

How do I become a member of the Gold Circle Club?

You apply to become a member of the Gold Circle Club online by clicking on the Sign up button in the Gold Circle Application area. Once your membership application has been accepted you will be issued with an Application Number, which you use to log your Aer Lingus flight activity. When you accumulate 2,400 Application Points in a continuous 12-month period you will become a qualified member of the Gold Circle Club. When you qualify as a member of the Gold Circle Club your Application Points will be given full club status and can be used towards free+ flights.

Can children become members of the Gold Circle Club?

Anyone over 12 years of age may apply for membership.

How do I change my contact details?

You can now change your contact details online. Login with your email address and password and select "My Profile".

How do I get my password?

In order to obtain a your password please follow the steps below.
  • Go to the www.aerlingus.com homepage
  • Click on 'SERVICES & FREQUENT FLYER'
  • Click on 'Gold Circle Club'
  • Click on 'Re-send my password'
You will be sent your password via email, which will allow you access to your online application account details.

What do I have to do to gain an invitation to join the Gold Circle Club?

The amount of points you need to become a member, or to retain your membership, of the Gold Circle Club is as follows:-
Tier Gold Prestige Elite
Points Required* 2,400 4,800 8,400
*Points required must be gained within a continuous twelve-month period on Aer Lingus and oneworld flights and exclude all bonus and other partner points. An Applicant to the Gold Circle Club must earn 2,400 Application Points in a continuous 12-month period to become a qualified member of the Club (at the Gold tier level).

When the required amount of points is achieved Aer Lingus will forward the membership card of the tier that you are being invited to join.

What benefits can I expect for being a member of the Gold Circle Club?

As soon as you have received membership of the Gold Circle Club you will be able to earn Points towards free flights while availing of lounge access at most airports served by Aer Lingus. Click here for further details.

Can I renew my Gold Circle membership using my Gold Circle points?

Yes. An existing member of the Gold Circle tier may renew their membership for one year by redeeming 2,400 Gold Circle points from their own account. This does not apply to Prestige and Elite tiers.

What Lounges are available to me?

Lounge access is available to members of the three tiers in our Gold Circle Club. The higher your tier membership is the more lounges that are available to you. Click here for further details.

What are the levels of the Gold Circle Club?

There are three tiers in the Gold Circle Club: Gold, Prestige and Elite. Membership of the club is by invitation only and members must reach a certain criteria to gain entry. Membership is valid for one year.

What happens if my membership of the Gold Circle Club expires?

In order to remain a member of the Gold Circle Club you must earn a minimum of 2,400 points in the year of membership. If your activity falls below this level then you can renew membership for another year by redeeming 2,400 points from your account. If you do not renew your Gold Circle membership all outstanding points in your account will remain valid for redemptions for 12 months.

How do I earn Gold Circle Points?

Earn Points on Aer Lingus
For every sector you fly*, you will earn points. When you fly Premier Class on Trans-Atlantic routes you will earn Bonus Points which can be used towards flight redemptions (bonus points do not count towards tier advancement).

Earn Points with our Partners As a qualified Gold Circle Club member you can also earn additional Points through our relationships with our non-airline airline partners. Click here for partner details.

How do I register my Points?

To register points you must quote your application account number when booking your flight. To earn points with one of our partners you must identify yourself as a Gold Circle Member, quote your membership number when making the booking and also present your card at each check-in point.

Can I claim the points retrospectively?

Yes. You are entitled to register points retrospectively up to three months after the transaction.

For Aer Lingus flights By recording the ticket and flight details on 'Register My Flights', you can register points retrospectively.

How can I check my account balance?

You can check your balance online.
  • Enter your Login and Password and click on the 'Flight Activity' area from the side menu bar.

Do Application Points expire?

Yes, Application points do expire. Points have a life span of 12 months. Once your points reach this age then they will be automatically eliminated from your account.

Once points have been eliminated from the account they cannot be reinstated under any circumstances.
